Ocean Eleven Guesthouse

Hermanus, with its famous cliffs, boasts incredible ocean views and is considered one of the best places in the world to watch Southern Right whales. Spot the whales between May and December, when they leave their Antarctic feeding ground and travel to the warm waters of the Cape Coast. Other activities in the region include canoeing, horse riding and various adventure sports.

By car:

- Coming from Cape Town, follow the N2 in the direction of George.
- Pass over Sir Lowry’s Pass and continue straight ahead for about 20
minutes.
- Pass over the Houw Hoek Pass and, as you come down, pass
Botriver on your left-hand side.
- Look out for the Hermanus R43 turn-off to your left.
- Take the off-ramp and carry on on the R43, passing the Kleinmond
turn-off in the process.
- Pass Fisherhaven, Hawston, Vermont, Onrus and Sandbaai.
- Pass 2 more sets of traffic lights after the Sandbaai traffic lights.
- After the third set of traffic lights, turn right onto the third road to your
right (Albertyrn Road).
- Follow Albertyn Road until you reach the T-junction.
- Turn right onto Westcliff Road, the guest house is the big grey building
on the left-hand side.

- Coming from Knysna, follow the N2 in the direction of Cape Town.
- Once you passed Riviersonderend, look for the sign directing you to
Hermanus (R326) on your left-hand side.
- Turn left and follow the road until you reach Stanford.
- You will reach a stop street with a small garage to your right and a
farm barn to your left.
- Turn right and follow this road right into Hermanus.
- Continue straight into town, passing the roundabout in the process.
- Once you reach Main Road, pass the junction and continue until you
reach a set of traffic lights where you can only turn right.
- Turn left onto the second road to your left (Park Road).
- At the stop street (the sea should be in front of you), turn right.
- Follow the road until you reach the guest house.
